Lauren Jones is a freelance writer, photographer and videographer based in San Francisco. She has many interests, but is currently focused on the embargo on Cuba, scouring the streets of San Francisco for the most interesting eats and documentary filmmaking.

Lauren recently returned from Cuba with the Venceremos Brigade, the oldest Cuban solidarity organization challenging the travel ban since 1969. Her work is featured in 7×7 Magazine, The Crime Report and BurnsInstitute.org.
